Mangia Mangia Mobile

San Diego, California

OPEN

Still open. It kept its doors open after the show.

The short answer

Italian mobile food truck; Yelp listing shows current weekday hours (Mon-Fri 11am-3pm, closed Sat/Sun).

What happened on the show

Rival San Diego food-truck owners Marko Pavlinovic and Brett Doogan brought their shared revenue problem to Charles Stiles, who ran a sting across the whole lot with mystery diners undercover at competing trucks and windows. As aired, a friendly competition had curdled into a feud, and on Marko's Mangia Mangia Mobile two employees are the culprits, trading insults with the rival crew, one snatching a megaphone, the other poaching customers with free samples, planting a fish under the truck, and eventually locking rival staff in their own truck before a water-gun brawl breaks out. The confrontation has one quit on recognizing Stiles and Marko fire the other. Given the scripting claims that later dogged Mystery Diners, this dueling-trucks sting is best framed as broadcast rather than as documented event.

After the cameras left

Mangia Mangia Mobile appears to still roll. The Italian food truck shows current weekday hours on its Yelp listing in our 2026 pass, though a competing directory marks it closed, so we hold it at medium confidence. Food trucks are hard to track years on, but the freshest usable signal points to a going operation. Mystery Diners filmed a lot-wide feud, not a rescue; the truck seems simply to have kept working, which is the unremarkable story under the on-camera chaos.
