Mystery Diners followed Charles Stiles and his team through restaurant investigations. Discovery+ groups the series into eleven seasons. If you remember a bar, a city or a restaurant more clearly than an episode number, the season groups below give you a way back into the show.

Seasons 1 to 3: Arizona, Las Vegas and beyond

The eight-episode first season opened at Maeve's Residuals in Studio City. The bar later traded as Residuals Tavern. Early Arizona stops included Haus Murphy's in Glendale and Big Earl's Greasy Eats in Cave Creek.

Season 2's thirteen episodes included Las Vegas venues Marche Bacchus, Capo's Italian Cuisine and Via Brasil. These are a useful starting group if you want to follow the show's Las Vegas visits without jumping between seasons.

Season 3 took the route into Miami and New Orleans, including Garcia's Seafood and The Crazy Lobster. The Crazy Lobster closed in 2018.

Seasons 4 to 7: the middle of the run

Season 4 included Long Beach and Evanston, with Buster's Beach House and Bistro Bordeaux among the restaurants that later closed. Season 5 moves through the San Francisco Bay Area and the Seattle area; Season 6 includes Los Angeles, Austin and Las Vegas. For San Diego and the Denver area, start with Season 7.

These seasons ran across 2013 and 2014. Follow the linked restaurant profiles for their episode dates and later histories.

Seasons 8 to 11: the final stretch

The later seasons continued through 2016. Season 8 includes Portland and Honolulu, while Season 9 returns to New Orleans. Season 10 includes Miami and Atlanta, alongside California stops such as B-Man's Teriyaki and Burgers in Azusa. Season 11 reaches Brooklyn, New Jersey towns and Nashville.

Choose the city you remember, then use the season list to find the restaurant and episode.

Three places to look up for a visit

The early episodes include venues with their own visitor information. Residuals Tavern gives its Studio City address and daily noon-to-2am hours. Big Earl's has burgers, breakfast and patio seating in Cave Creek. Marché Bacchus offers French dining beside Lake Jacqueline in Las Vegas's Desert Shores community.

These visitor details were checked on October 5, 2026. Use the venue links for menus and bookings when planning a trip.

Find an episode or another restaurant

The Mystery Diners hub groups the featured businesses by season. Browse Mystery Diners to find a name you remember, then open the profile for its air date, location and later history.

If you want another restaurant-investigation format after finishing the series, the Restaurant Stakeout directory is a useful next stop.
