Salon Vendome
Houston, Texas
Good outcome here: the business is still trading today.
The short answer
Official site (salonvendome.com) exists; Yelp shows current hours (Tue-Sat 9am-5pm, closed Mon/Sun) at 5161 San Felipe St; multiple directories (Chamber of Commerce, Uptown Houston) list as active.
What happened on the show
Houston, Texas, was the setting for this third season salon episode, and the takeover arrived in its usual shape. The show ran on Coffey's reliable sequence, an inside look at how the salon operated, assessments delivered without softening, a staff shakeup, and a renovation ending in a reveal. No synopsis has survived to record the specific moments, so we leave those unstated rather than invent them. The documented ground is the format and the business, a Salon Vendome in the Uptown area of Houston on San Felipe Street. Coffey's argument was the one she brings to every episode, that a salon's problems usually begin with the person in charge, and that the intervention's purpose was to force an honest look at the operation before the renovation. The recurring lesson was that skill on the floor counts for little without someone steering the whole room.
After the cameras left
Salon Vendome is open. Its official site exists, Yelp shows current weekly hours at the San Felipe Street address in Houston, and multiple business directories list it as active. The live official site and current hours listing make this a high confidence survivor. The Uptown Houston salon came through its takeover and continues to operate, one of the show's steadier long term outcomes in Texas.
