H Design

Minneapolis, Minnesota

CLOSED

Closed. The business shut its doors in 2013.

The short answer

The Pioneer Press (TwinCities.com) reported in March 2013 that 'H Design, the Minneapolis salon featured on Bravo's Tabatha Takes Over television series, has closed,' with the location locked and a 'For Lease' sign posted.

What happened on the show

This season four episode brought the takeover back to Minneapolis, Minnesota, at a hair salon. As across the run, the show followed Coffey's format rather than a surviving narrative: she embeds in the salon, delivers blunt evaluations of the staff and owner, restructures the team, and finishes with a renovation reveal. No synopsis for this installment survives, so the specific scenes are not on the record and we do not reconstruct them. What is documented is the format and the setting, an H Design salon in Minneapolis taken through the overnight process. Coffey's premise held here too, that a salon reflects its leadership and standards, and that the value of the intervention was an honest reset the owner could not reach alone.

After the cameras left

H Design has closed. The Pioneer Press reported in March 2013 that H Design, the Minneapolis salon featured on the show, had closed, with the location locked and a for lease sign posted. The local news report with a specific timeframe makes this a high confidence closure. A separate H Design Uptown business surfaced but could not be confirmed as a continuation of the same salon, so it was not treated as a successor.
