What happened on the show
Pier West Restaurant in Twin Lakes, Wisconsin received a sixth season makeover on the show's fixed terms, two days of work and a refit fund the network keeps deliberately lean. The Wikipedia list preserves no synopsis, so the beats of Irvine's visit are not detailed here. What the record does support is a change of tenant. A different business, Wild Child's Tavern & Grill, now operates at the Wilmot Avenue address, confirmed through an independent directory, which points to Pier West itself being gone. The often repeated account that it closed for winter and never reopened in early 2014 traces only to banned trackers, so we do not cite it; the current occupant is the citable basis for treating the original restaurant as closed rather than a claimed date we cannot stand behind.
After the cameras left
Pier West is no longer operating at its address, where a different business, Wild Child's Tavern and Grill, now sits. That successor is confirmed at the Wilmot Avenue location via an independent directory, RestaurantJi, showing a 4.2-star average across 208 reviews, which implies Pier West itself is gone. The closure date and cause, described as closing for winter and not reopening around January 2014, come only from banned trackers we do not cite, so we rest the status on the successor's presence and hold it at medium confidence.
