What happened on the show
The episode was titled Ramsay's Worst Nightmare, and the dirty oysters explain why. Iberville Cuisine and Oyster Bar kicked off Season 9's Road to Super Bowl LIX arc in New Orleans, and Ramsay opened it by turning down the restaurant's Cajun fries and two-day-old oysters, so bad that a waitress cursed out the kitchen staff for sending a filthy one to the table. Owned by Bonnie and Camille and open in the French Quarter since April 2023, the restaurant became a two-part story stretched across the January premiere and the following week, a sign of how much work it needed ahead of the Super Bowl the season was building toward. Despite the ugly first impression, the arc suggested Ramsay managed to turn things around for the young oyster bar before the big game came to town.
After the cameras left
Iberville appears to have survived the ordeal. As of our latest verification the French Quarter oyster bar was bookable on OpenTable with active review traffic, though the official site's rendering left us short of full certainty, so this holds at moderate confidence rather than a firm all-clear. For a restaurant that opened in 2023 and then got branded Ramsay's worst nightmare on national television, simply staying open through the Super Bowl and beyond is a respectable outcome.
