The short answer
Every search result for this name in South Dakota placed the property in Lead, SD (Black Hills), not Sturgis; no Sturgis-proper location could be confirmed under this name.
What happened on the show
The final season opened with Melchiorri taking on three struggling properties at once around Sturgis, South Dakota, the Black Hills town synonymous with its enormous annual motorcycle rally. The Ponderosa Motor Lodge was one of them, sharing the episode's core diagnosis: weak online marketing and an unfavorable rental arrangement that together threatened to doom all three unless the approach changed. A lodging property in rally country lives and dies on a handful of peak weeks and on being easy to find and book online, so poor digital marketing leaves money on the table year-round. Anthony's task across the trio was to fix how these properties presented and sold themselves and to address the punishing rental terms dragging them down. He pushed for a smarter online presence and a sustainable business arrangement, because in a market this seasonal, capturing the rally demand efficiently is the whole game.
After the cameras left
The Ponderosa Motor Lodge could not be reliably pinned down. Every search under that name in the area placed the property around Lead, South Dakota, in the Black Hills, roughly fifteen to twenty miles from Sturgis proper, rather than in Sturgis itself, and we could not confirm a current, operating listing under the name with confidence. The episode appears to have used Sturgis loosely for the greater rally region. With no dependable current signal, we treat the status as unverifiable and a recheck candidate, last documented only around the 2016 broadcast.
